There are so many cool things to do and places to go in a campervan and below we’ve shared some of our favourites.
Kent – It’s called the Garden of England for a reason. A beautiful coastline, quaint sleepy villages and stunning scenery. All of this is only an hour or so away from London Town! For all things Kent go and have a look at www.visitkent.co.uk. If you’re looking for a beautiful campsite then one of our favourites is www.kingsdowncamping.co.uk.
If you are looking for something a bit different then you must check out this stunning site www.nethergongcamping.co.uk.
North Norfolk Coast – Blessed with some of the most beautiful beaches in Britain and being a relatively flat county our campervans love this area as much as we do. Take a look at www.visitnorthnorfolk.com.
The New Forest – If you’ve never been then you must go. If you’ve been but not in a retro campervan then go again. Whilst you’re there pop in to Beaulieu Motor Museum and visit Bucklers Hard for lunch, simply stunning.
Sussex Heritage Coast – Head straight down to the Kent Coast and then stay as close to the coastline as you can all the way over to the beautiful Sussex Coast and on to Brighton. Our favourite places to stay are the lovely www.fairfieldsfarm.com. and www.brakescoppicepark.co.uk.
Have a spare couple of months? Perhaps a career break, gap year, retirement? The ultimate road trip has to be a journey around the coastline of the UK in a retro campervan. Contact us about tailor made long hire packages.
There are too many to list and it all depends upon what you’re in to so check out www.thefestivalcalendar.co.uk. Find a festival, check the availability calendar for the van you love and book quickly as they don’t hang about long at the height of the season.
We’re a tad biased so we’re in to VW shows, check out www.vwshows.com for this years calendar. At the end of the day, whatever you’re in to if they have a show and you want to go then go in style.
Wherever you see yourselves going this year, finish work, turn off the phone and come and have some good old retro camper fun with Mr Campervan.
John and Phil.
